Uber Technologies Inc. UBER, +4.03% eliminated 435 technical workers in its latest round of layoffs, according to media reports Tuesday. The company’s product division lost 170 employees while engineering lost 265 workers, according to The Wall Street Journal. Back in July, Uber said it was laying off a fourth of its global marketing staff. Back in August, Uber reported a $5.24 billion quarterly post-IPO loss. Uber went public back in May. Shares were up 3.7% at $33.42 at last check.
